**Job Title:** Physical Therapy Assistant

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Certifications:** BLS required

**Must-Have:** Pediatric experience highly preferred

**Job Description:**

- Deliver rehabilitation services primarily in an outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient weekend rotation if outpatient volume is low.
- Manage a daily patient load that varies based on census and scheduled hours.
- Work with common diagnoses including CVA, orthopedic conditions (e.g., hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, back, neck), and vestibular disorders.
- Utilize strong orthopedic skills with a critical focus on pediatric experience.
- Perform generalist skills aligned with basic physical therapy education.
- Participate in a weekend rotation every 6 weeks, with holidays as needed.
- Adhere to the dress code of black scrubs or a black collared shirt with khaki pants.
- Use the Cerner Corporation - Millennium charting system.
- Complete department-specific orientation provided.
