**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

**Must-Have:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- NC License for Physical Therapy

**Job Description:**

- Evaluate patients and administer assessment techniques to establish care plans.
- Synthesize information from medical records, physician reports, patient, and family to plan physical therapy programs.
- Set functional goals and provide evidence-based interventions, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Document evaluations, tests, progress notes, treatment notes, attendance, patient/family education, outcomes, discharge notes, and charges.
- Communicate patient evaluations and progress to physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff.
- Coordinate patient schedules, treatment programs, and discharge planning.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Techs/Aides as required by licensure.
- Require adequate hearing, vision, and speech for communication, and physical activities including lifting patients and equipment.
- Work in a fast-paced clinical environment primarily indoors.
- Provide one-on-one patient care with a daily schedule of 8 patients.

Note: Position requires a temporary-to-permanent travel contract.
