Delivers care/treatment in a manner that is appropriatefor the patient/resident s age, physical ability, and intellectual development.Completes accurate, legible, timely and effectivedocumentation according to department policies and procedures.Communicates clearly an concisely with team members,referring provider, insurance/case managers regarding patient/resident status,progress, needs and discharge planning Delegates appropriate patients/residents treatments totherapy assistant staff and provides supervision and direction to therapyassistants. Completes reevaluations in cooperation with therapyassistants as indicated and according to dept policy and procedureCompletes daily billing accuratelySchedulespatients efficiently and in cooperation with receptionist Participatesin dept and hospital wide educational opportunities for continuing professionaldevelopment/education.Providesone dept in-service if attending a continuing education course reimbursed byMCHParticipatesin the Rehab Department student program as available and appropriate as aclinical instructor, mentor and role model. Participatesin one Rehab Department or MCH project, PI initiative, or committee Adheresto all MCH and Rehab Department safety policies and procedures. Reports incidents,fall, adverse drug reactions and equipment issues according to hospitalpolicies. Participatesin the development of and adheres to the department Mission, Values and Groundrules.
