**Job Title:** Physical Therapist (PT)

**Shift:** Day Shift, 8 hours

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** 2 years of PT experience preferred; LTC or Rehab experience required

**License:** State License required

**Certifications:** Must meet educational requirements for licensure

**Must-Have:**
- Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist license
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care

**Job Description:**

- Evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to develop treatment plans aimed at regaining mobility and independence.
- Work to improve a patient's independence with tasks such as getting up from a chair or climbing stairs.
- Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of physical therapy services in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
- Provide appropriate care and services to residents within local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with the facility staff to ensure high-quality physical therapy services.
- Maintain concise and accurate patient care records.
