- Proficiency in DX and ICD-10 Coding

Job Description:

- Implement patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength.
- Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records for patient documentation.
- Supervise PT Assistants and Aides in patient care.
- Communicate with physicians and other staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including prescriptions and test results.
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions.
- Coordinate with front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up.
- Make independent decisions regarding patient care.
- Contribute to the business marketing referral process as needed.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect patient privacy.
- Understand billing procedures, including Medicare and private billing.
- Be physically mobile, including stool sitting, walking, and prolonged standing.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility needs.
- Participate in privacy training and communicate privacy policies.
- Comply with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
