**Certifications:** BLS, COVID Vaccine Required
**Must-Have:**
- Experience with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac patients
- ICU experience preferred
- Ability to perform bedside swallow and conduct modified barium swallow studies for speech therapy
- Cognition assessment skills
- Experience in outpatient or home health preferred
- Experience with physical disabilities preferred
- Spanish speaking candidates preferred
**Job Description:**
- Work in rehab therapies, including inpatient and outpatient settings for OT, PT, and speech therapy
- Common diagnoses include spinal cord injuries, TBI, stroke, cardiac rehab, and ortho
- Perform floor-specific orientation, including 1 day of hospital orientation followed by 2-3 days of unit orientation
- Flexible work hours, with shifts starting at 6:30 am and ending by 6:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break
- Collaborate with a manager available 7 days a week and an inpatient rehab aide
- Float between units of the hospital and to acute rehab
- Observe weekend requirements with every other Saturday or Sunday, and a day off during the week when working a weekend shift
- Participate in holiday scheduling via sign-up to fill holiday shifts
- No requirement for pediatric experience, although it is a plus for areas such as lymphedema, vestibular, and wound care
- Utilize Cerner for charting and Phillips for telemetry
- Access to hospitalists or intensivists, RT 24/7, and pharmacy 24/7
- Required to wear black or dark-colored pants and burgundy dress shirts or polos as scrubs
