Job Description:
- Engage with a daily patient load of 10-12 with no on-call or floating requirements.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team environment including physical therapists, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, alongside case management for comprehensive patient care.
- Work within a 50-bed hospital that covers a wide range of units including cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, med/surg, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics.
- Provide therapeutic services to ortho, neuro, oncology, post-op back, neck, med-surg, and ICU cases, including medical, cardiac, and surgical patients.
- Assist patients with adaptive devices, assess active and passive range of motion, evaluate arousal and attention, and utilize assistive devices effectively.
- Conduct thorough assessments of body mechanics, environmental barriers, pain, sensory response, skin integrity, and muscle strength.
- Monitor and evaluate vital signs to ensure patient safety during rehabilitation sessions.
- Ensure compliance with a 50-mile radius rule, meaning applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
