**Job Title:** Physical Therapy Assistant - Home Health

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year required

**License:** Missouri state license or compact license required; candidates without a license in hand may be accepted

**Certifications:** BLS, PTA

**Must-Have:**
- EPIC charting experience
- Strong communication skills
- Good customer service
- Effective time management skills

**Job Description:**
- Provide physical therapy care under the supervision of a PT for treatments in the home setting.
- Develop and implement home exercise programs tailored to patients' needs.
- Assist with lifting and transferring patients safely.
- Conduct patient and family education to promote safety and injury prevention.
- Schedule appointments and manage telephone calls professionally.
- Perform ultrasounds and wound care as required.
- Must work every other weekend and two out of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day).
- Participate in orientation for 40 hours.
- Complete pre-start modules through WorkRamp.
- Adhere to fit testing requirements for facial hair, if applicable.
- Follow facility protocols, including COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies.
