**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 Hours
**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year required; First-timers accepted
**License:** Missouri state license or a compact license required; Pending state license accepted
**Certifications:** BLS, PTA
**Must-Have:**
- Home health experience
- Proficiency in home exercise programs, lifting and transfers
- Patient and family education skills
- Safety and injury prevention knowledge
- Scheduling and appointment management
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Time management proficiency
**Job Description:**
- Provide physical therapy care under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
- Manage a daily caseload of 6 patients with treatments conducted in-home
- Perform wound care and other specialized therapy tasks as required
- Educate patients and families regarding care programs and safety
- Handle scheduling, telephone calls, and other administrative tasks
- Work on-call duties not required, and no floating between facilities
- Required to work every other weekend and two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day)
- Engage in a one-week orientation with pre-start modules required for compliance
- Demonstrate the ability to accommodate a block schedule not required
**Preferred Experience:**
- Experience in acute care, LTAC, outpatient clinics, pediatrics, rehab hospitals, school systems, SNF
- Knowledge of medications, supply orders, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, med-surg, ortho, pediatrics, wound care
- Proficiency in EPIC, ACLS, dry needling, manual/hand therapy, lymphedema treatment
