**Job Description:**
- Ensure prescreen is filled out and attached when submitting the candidate
- Check that resume and license verification are provided
- Conduct state license verification
- Gather references (3)
- Complete county criminal background check (7 years for all counties lived and worked in)
- Federal criminal background check (7 years or more)
- Multi-state criminal search (7 years or more)
- Nationwide sex offender search (7 years or more)
- Conduct HHS/OIG search
- GSA search
- Social Security Number trace
- Verify health requirements: 1 Step PPD or Quantiferon, or proof of positive PPD and chest X-ray
- Conduct SAM search
- Complete Virginia State Police background check
- Fill out mandated reporter form
- Sworn statement required
