Must-Have: Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education

Job Description:

- Promote and maintain patients' health by providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.
- Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend; scheduled days off are Friday before and Monday after the weekend when worked.
- Handle critical and stressful situations with efficiency and composure, showing compassion for those in pain or experiencing functional loss.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, and occasionally lift up to 250 lbs for up to 8 hours each day.
- Perform repetitive hand movements with good manual dexterity and excellent hearing and visual acuity.
- Operate a computer keyboard and mouse to document patient care using computer software.
- Work within a hospital and outpatient setting, with potential exposure to communicable diseases and body fluids.
- Candidates who have worked within the last five years or who live within a specified local radius will not be considered.

Please note: COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations allowed. Experience with the Cerner charting system is preferred.
