**Job Description:**

- Implement components of patient care and obtain data related to treatments provided
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary
- Assist in treating individuals of all ages, from newborns to people at the end of life
- Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups
- Work directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients
- Communicate with families to find the best at-home techniques
- Keep the physical therapy area clean and organized
- Assist in moving patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area
- Complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
- Teach patients techniques like balance training
