**Job Title:** Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

**Job Specialty:** Outpatient Orthopedics

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Minimum of 40 hours/week for shifts less than 12 hours

**Experience:** 1 Year (willing to consider less than 1 year); First-time applicants accepted

**License:** WI State License

**Certifications:** BLS

**Must-Have:** Experience in geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, sports medicine in an outpatient clinic setting

**Job Description:**

- Work primarily with outpatient orthopedic patients ranging from age 10 to elderly.
- Handle a variety of diagnoses with occasional inpatient cases such as weakness or post-surgical care for TKA, THA, or abdominal procedures.
- No on-call requirements, and weekend work may be required depending on facility needs.
- Participate in holiday rotations as necessary.
- Complete a mandatory 12-hour orientation.
- Be prepared to handle administrative non-billable modules before starting.
- Responsible for personal compliance with OSHA Respirator Clearance and FIT testing requirements.
- Flexibility in schedule may be needed at the manager's discretion.
- Ensuring effective communication and treatment under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
