Travel Radiology Technician - Covid19 - $2,361 Per Week

Certification Details ARRT (R) and other radiology certifications as applicable.
Job Details Exeter Hospital will not consider anyone who has a permanent address within 50 miles of Exeter Hospital.

Operates radiology/fluoroscopic equipment to produce images/radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologist.
Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician.
Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating room, emergency room or at patient's bedside.
Operates film processing equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements 2+ years current X-Ray experience.
ARRT (R) certificate.
Fluoro experience absolutely required - daily procedures.
Should have experience with ER, OR, Bedside imaging - please note on profile.
Experience with Adolescent-Geriatric.
Schedule Information Shifts from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday with procedures every 30 minutes.
Unit Specific Information Equipment used includes majority Carestream, Siemens Luminos Agile Fluoroscopy rooms, a Shimadzu room, and GE c-arms.
Fluoroscopy experience is required due to a heavy load daily.
Mobile Imaging experience with C-arm and portable x-ray is required due to high volume of portable chest x-rays.
Additional Details Initial Vaccination series is required.
