Certification Details BLS Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Current OBMI license Job Requirements ARRT CT and XR certification Current BLS and Current OBMI license Must be competent in the OR and with fluoro procedures Ensure patient safety and well-being at all times Transport patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department when appropriate Use proper radiation safety and provide proper radiation protection for patients and others Respond to Code Blue as appropriate Maintain work area equipment Stock equipment including forms, contrast material, exam supplies, linens, and other supplies Quickly adapt to novel techniques and procedures related to the position Attend continuing education programs pertinent to radiology Maintain proficiency with the Department's PACS, radiology information system, and clinical information system Schedule Information 13 weeks contract length Shifts (Days or Nights): Some graves on a pre-planned basis Weekend shifts and weekday shifts are 3 12-hour shifts Unit Specific Information Perform computed tomography studies as ordered Process radiologic images and send to PACS Transmit diagnostic imaging study images to contracted teleradiology services as indicated Read diagnostic imaging study reports to ordering Medical Staff as requested Provide assistance with Department paperwork, clerical, and reception tasks when needed Provide urgent service after regular work hours according to an established call schedule Additional Details Willingness to participate in Hospital orientation and educational in-service
