About The Position **Job Title:** Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technician **Job Specialty:** Neuromonitoring Technology **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year required; first-timers not accepted **License:** Pending state license accepted **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) **Must-Have:** - COVID-19 vaccine and booster required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with proper documentation - Skills in monitoring techniques such as SSEPs, TcMEPs, SEMG, ABRs, motor mapping, and cranial nerve monitoring **Job Description:** - Perform intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgeries in a Level I trauma, teaching, and children's hospital environment. - Monitor the nervous system through various diagnostic techniques. - Handle different types of cases that include spine, advanced cranial, and vascular procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout the process. - Work collaboratively in the operating room with various surgical teams and assist in managing complex motor mapping and cranial nerve monitoring scenarios. - Participate in a call rotation as required and adhere to facility-specific protocols and safety standards. - Ability to work with adults, geriatrics, neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents. - Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including strict documentation and communication protocols. 9336020EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel adventure begins here.
