Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 3x12 - 7am - 7pm Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience License: Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan Certifications: Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS preferred Must-Have: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program Job Description: - Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients.
- Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures in Intensive Care and General Practice Units.
- Maintain clinical expertise for Departmental assignments throughout various business units.
- Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs.
- Adequately document all aspects of patient care.
- Supervise, direct, and delegate to Respiratory Therapists, orients, externs, and students.
- Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.
