Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM; Every 3rd weekend rotation Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years; 2-5 years preferred License: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with bronchoscopy, PFT Lab, and therapist-driven protocols is a plus. - Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited school. Job Description: - Coordinate respiratory care for patients in designated areas. - Utilize critical thinking, delegation, and problem-solving to achieve optimal patient outcomes. - Communicate effectively with health care team members. - Demonstrate leadership through team leading, prioritizing, and critical thinking. - Assume professional responsibility and accountability for respiratory care outcomes. - Integrate respiratory therapy theory into practice. - Provide age-specific respiratory care from neonates to older adults. - Display competency in the Registered Respiratory Therapist role per organizational standards. - Deliver respiratory care with minimal supervision. - Other duties as assigned.
