**Shift:** 8-hour days, Monday to Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum one year of experience as a Speech Pathologist

**License:** Must have a valid state license

**Certifications:**
- CCC by ASHA (Clinical Certification)
- CPR
- BLS (Basic Life Support) by American Heart

**Must-Have:**
- Ability to administer and evaluate standardized speech/language tests
- Experience in performing video swallow studies
- Willingness to work with both pediatric and adult patients
- Valid state driver's license

**Job Description:**

- Assist patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech, and communication functions through evaluation and treatment.
- Conduct outpatient therapies for both pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform inpatient bedside swallow studies and treatments.
- Conduct video swallow studies (maximum 2-3 per week).
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for all patient records and treatment plans.
- Operate as the sole speech therapist in a rural hospital setting.
- Participate in a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program to understand documentation processes and navigate the hospital environment.
- Collaborate with three PRN speech therapists for additional support.
- Adhere to a business casual dress code.

Note: Position includes a non-billable 12-hour orientation period.
