Travel Speech Language Pathologist (Slp) In Lacey, Wa

**Job Title:** Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

**Shift:** Day 3x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Per contract, facility can call off up to one shift per pay period (every two weeks) if needed

**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of skilled home health experience required

**License:** Pending license accepted

**Certifications:** BLS

**Must-Have:** Reliable transportation

**Job Description:**

- **Location:** Primarily serving Thurston and Pierce County, WA, and surrounding areas.
- **Shift Flexibility:** 3 x 8hr days, traveler may choose which days to work.
- **Patient Interaction:** Ratios are 1:1 with the possibility of visiting up to 6 patients per day, achieving 30 productivity points as a standard.
- **Weekend Requirement:** No weekend work required.
- **On-Call Requirement:** Not required.
- **Floating:** Not required to float between similar units.
- **Schedule Accommodation:** Not open to accommodating block schedules.
- **Local Candidates:** Accepted within a 50-75 mile radius; locals considered at the same rate.
- **Work Attire:** Any basic color scrubs permitted.
- **Charting System:** EPIC experience preferred.
- **Transportation:** Traveler expected to have their own transportation; the system efficiently groups clients to minimize drive time with occasional travel up to a 50+ mile radius.
- **Oasis Knowledge:** Preferred but not required; please note if the candidate lacks Oasis experience.
- **Vaccination Requirements:** COVID-19 vaccine not required. Flu vaccine status unknown.
- **Orientation:** 40 hours required for orientation.
- **Modules:** Completion required pre-start and annually; non-billable and self-reported.
