**Job Title:** Speech Language Pathologist

**Shift:** 8-hour Days, Every Other Weekend, First to Float

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Active CA license required

**Certifications:** BLS required

**Must-Have:** Active BLS, CA license, experience with Cerner charting system

**Job Description:**

- Provide comprehensive speech therapy services within an acute care setting.
- Float to various locations if needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in 12 hours of orientation to adapt to the facility and protocols.
- Utilize the Cerner charting system effectively for patient documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain compliance with trauma level 3 care protocols and procedures.
- Adapt to shift scheduling requirements, including working every other weekend.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient needs.
