*Position:* Sterile Processing Department – Certified SPT




*Start Date:* 8/26




*Shift*: 1 Day Shift and 2 Mid Shifts




*Hours: Day Shift*: 7:00AM - 3:30PM and Mid Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM




*Hours per week*: 40hrs - 5x8s




*Contract Length*: 13 weeks only




*Pay Package*: $16.40/hr, $24.60/OT, $1134 Stipend = $1790 gross




*Local Pay Package*: $40/hr, $60/OT = $1600 gross




*Experience*: 3 years of experience needed








*Job Description*:




Sterile Processing Technician assembles all case carts for daily and emergent surgeries.
They include all needed sterile trays and disposable items requested per physician preference.
The purpose of this job is to provide the Operating Room and Ancillary Departments with sterile trays, instrumentation, disposable items needed to ensure a quality product for patient care by executing established procedures for decontamination assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart set up practices.
