We currently have a client in Norwich, CT looking for a Licensed Surgical Technologist!

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Licensed Surgical Technologist to work under the supervision of the surgeon to prepare the operating room and assist the surgeon as needed.

Contract Assignment - 13 Weeks (Temporary)

Requirements: Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
CST certification
Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities: Review case cart before each procedure
Set up instrumentation and supplies before operations while maintaining sterile environment
Assist surgeon as needed during the operation
Pass tools and instrumentation to surgeon during operation
Verify all instruments post-surgery and dispose of necessary items to keep sterile environment
All other duties as assigned
