Job Description & Requirements Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2055.52 - $2368.32 Echo Tech needed asap Performs all ultrasound procedures and administrative work. Location: Grand Valley Cardiology-may float to Cath Lab if needed Responsibilities: Responsible for properly greeting patients, verify correct patient name, DOB, proper exam and diagnosis and verify Dr. order prior to performing exams or procedures. Responsible for cleaning all equipment after every use (scanner, table, counters, operators console, workstations, injectors, wheelchairs, etc.) and stocking rooms after exams. Responsible for taking call and performing all Technologists duties of assigned position according to the needs of the department to provide coverage for each modality. Responsible for knowing equipment, scanning techniques and parameters in accordance with Radiologist requests and recommendations. Responsible for providing proper preps and protocols per exam to ensure the proper test for the proper diagnosis. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Hospital – ARDMS Registered 2 years experience Required Qualifications Sonographer, Echo Experience: 2 years Certifications: RDCS-AE-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required High school diploma or equivalent.
