Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings and nights, 36-40 hours per week based on departmental needs Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Minimum two years of clinical imaging experience required; experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital preferred. Prior travel experience highly preferred. License: Must hold appropriate state radiological license Certifications: ARRT Certification, BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association Must-Have: Traveler must have a permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of the work location. Job Description: - Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on patients of different age groups, including adults, geriatrics, adolescents, and pediatrics. - Utilize a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. - Make quick and highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. - Troubleshoot basic maintenance and repairs. - Participate in quality assurance activities and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. - Be flexible to float to units working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on competency skills and experience. - Be prepared for shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
