Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Job Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-timers accepted. Level I Trauma experience preferred. License: IL state license required. Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, Operating Room Job Description: - Work 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts per week to total 40 hours. - Morning and evening shifts include 07:30-16:00 and 07:30-20:00. - Weekend work required every other weekend and holidays, as needed. - On-call responsibilities required as needed. - Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is not required. - Open to accommodating block schedules; schedule requests should be discussed with the manager. - Experience in Cerner charting system is preferred. - Perform a range of X-Ray procedures across various specialties: - Abdomen/GI: Abdomen decubitus, Abdomen supine (KUB), Abdomen upright. - Chest and Thorax: Chest AP, Chest Lateral Decubitus, Chest routine, Upper Airway (soft tissue neck). - Head: Facial bones, Orbits, Paranasal sinuses, Skull, Temporomandibular joints. - Lower Extremity: Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, Tibia-Fibula. - Mobile/Surgical: C-Arm Procedure, Portable abdomen, Portable Chest. - Spine and Pelvis: Cervical Spine, Hip, Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Sacrum and/or Coccyx, Thoracic Spine. - Upper Extremity: Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Scapula, Shoulder, Trauma shoulder or Humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic Axial), Wrist. - Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours. Modules must be completed virtually on the first day by the end of the day, then annually. - Flu Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only).
