This position is a hybrid role (in office 50% of the time) and you must be located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco. About the Role Uber is looking for a Treasury Manager to be a part of our dynamic Treasury team. Reporting to the Global Head of Cash Management, this role will lead our cash management strategies and operations across the HQ and North American (NAM) regions. You will be essential in ensuring Uber maintains effective cash management practices to support our regional and global strategic initiatives!
What You'll Do Oversee daily cash management operations, including cash positioning and short-term liquidity forecasting specific to the HQ and NAM regions. Develop and implement policies and procedures for HQ cash and liquidity management, as well as banking structure management, ensuring they meet regional compliance and operational efficiency standards. Actively participate in leading the design and ongoing enhancement of cash flow forecasting models to accurately predict future cash positions and effectively manage financial resources. Collaborate with regional Accounting, Tax, and Compliance teams to ensure all cash management practices align with regulatory requirements and internal controls, including SOX compliance. Work closely with FinTech, FinOps, and StratFin teams to leverage technology in enhancing cash visibility and operational efficiencies. Analyze financial data to monitor and improve cash flow, reduce costs, and optimize the overall capital efficiency and returns within the region. Provide expert financial advice and support as a subject matter expert to Finance and Payments organization, aiding in strategic decision-making and financial planning. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of treasury and/or cash management experience at a top corporate or financial institution. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. Preferred Qualifications Exceptional communication and organizational skills, strong project management acumen, and ability to multitask seamlessly. Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling is essential, with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets and inform business decisions. CTP, CFA or MBA is a plus. Public company experience in a large multi-national preferred. Enthusiasm about Uber! For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year.
