The Director aids in managing a team responsible for oversight of operational processes for the Funds with an intensive focus on NAV and Custody oversight. The Director is also individually responsible to lead cross departmental projects and initiatives. The Director will be the primary relationship management contact for a variety of external service providers.
Position Responsibilities: Lead team within the Fund Administration department focused on accounting and custody oversight.Intensive focus on NAV accuracy and the appropriate execution of accounting treatments.Assist in the leadership and support of various Fund Events such as Fund launches, mergers, and adoptions.Coordinate various team objectives including the execution of Fund distributions, daily use of available liquidity facilities, creation of Board of Trustee reporting, and numerous accounting focused reviews.Lead team's involvement in large-scale cross-departmental projects and initiatives.Coordinate team's support and involvement in various internal committees such as the Complex Securities Committee, Dividend Committee, and Risk & Investment Operations Committee.Required Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant industry experience.Strong accounting background with proven ability to draft and execute complex accounting policy.When you join our team: We'll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.We'll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.As part of our global team, we'll support you in shaping the future you want to see.About Manulife and John Hancock Manulife Financial Corporation is a leading global financial services provider that helps people make decisions more easily and live better. Salary Range: $114,975.00 USD - $206,955.00 USD
