Croke & Associates, employees of the Law Department of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, is seeking an attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation and trial experience with exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, the rules of evidence, no fault, and trial strategy to join our Southfield, MI office.  Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, superior oral advocacy and writing skills, and the ability to manage a caseload where work is time sensitive.  The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. Everyone in a hybrid role is required to spend some time in the office.  Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs. Based in Southfield, MI we enjoy an active and busy insurance defense practice.  We provide a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff. Location:  20750 Civic Center Drive Suite 400, Southfield, MI   #LI-RC1 #SFPL PM22   Qualifications Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials Must have an active license to practice law in Michigan and be a member in good standing with the state bar 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferably in insurance defense including experience handling No Fault/PIP, Bodily Injury, and Premises Liability litigation Jury trial experience is a plus Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation Experience working in a paperless environment Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity.
