Description
The Truck Driver CDL-A is responsible for product movement between Stonewall Kitchen sites as well as regional vendors.
This position performs systematic inventory movement as well as equipment aided loading and unloading.
This is a 2nd Shift role, Monday - Friday, hours are 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, with mandatory overtime.
Base hourly rate is $25.00, with an additional 10% shift differential, equals $27.50 per hour.
Requirements
JOB SUMMARY
•Load and unload truck using pallet jack, forklift, or other appropriate equipment.
•Use warehouse management device to systematically load and unload product.
•Perform pickups and/or deliveries to or from vendors, Stonewall Kitchen facilities, Stonewall Kitchen Stores, and other locations as directed.
•Perform general maintenance for company vehicles (e.g., check oil, fill fuel tank, fill window washer fluid, remove snow, etc.).
•Maintain cleanliness of work area and vehicles throughout shift and at the end of the shift.
•Complete and maintain daily DOT trucking log via Electronic Logging Device (ELD) including safety inspections.
•Report any conditions that need attention to appropriate department supervisor.
EXPECTATIONS
•High school education or equivalent.
•A valid CDL Class A driver's license with clean driving record and no restrictions.
•Properly enrolled in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, twist, bend, reach, squat and climb stairs.
•3 years driving experience preferred.
•Experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) preferred.
•Must be computer literate.
OTHER DUTIES
•Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, including food safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment.
•Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
•May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require.
