Trusts, Estates & Wealth Preservation Senior Associate

Senior Associate – Trusts, Estates & Wealth Preservation (NYC Hybrid) Salary Range: $390k to $435k + Bonus We are seeking a Senior Associate with 6-8 years of legal experience to join our Trusts, Estates, and Wealth Preservation practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and a broad background in estate planning, tax, real estate, disputes, investments, and succession planning. This role will involve managing sophisticated matters for high-net-worth clients both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities: Draft Wills, Trusts, and related estate planning documentsAdvise Executors and Trustees on the administration of complex international and domestic estates and trustsPrepare and file estate and gift tax returns, as well as tax-exemption applicationsCounsel clients on trust structures and private client tax mattersProvide litigation support in estate and trust-related disputesCollaborate with clients and their advisors to achieve their wealth preservation and planning objectivesRequired Skills and Attributes: Excellent writing, research, and analytical skillsStrong oral communication and interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrates sound judgment and attention to detailOutstanding organizational skills to handle complex mattersTechnical Requirements: 6-8 years of experience in a law firm settingAdmitted to practice law in New York and in good standing (New Jersey license a plus)
