The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. We are committed to working with our school districts, other agencies, families and the community at large by providing services, information and leadership, always with a focus on students.
Job Summary
The TSN support provider assists non-tenured teachers and any teacher who voluntarily requests support and may include mandatory participants. Support is provided to teachers through demonstrations, observations, and coaching, recommending conferences or workshops for teachers and other appropriate activities that will support the teacher. This assignment may require work beyond your normal workday/hours.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Current status as a permanent certificated teacher with SBCSS;
• Completed three (3) years of the last five (5) years spending at least 60% of a full-time position
providing instruction to students in Alternative Education and/or Special Education settings
with SBCSS as of June 30, 2024;
• Possession of a valid California Clear Education Specialist or Clear General Education credential.
