We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer II at our Turquoise Ridge Process operations.The Process Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the development and execution of projects in support of improved equipment reliability, asset integrity, compliance, process safety and plant performance. The role owns the technical specifications of the equipment and plant infrastructure and provides in-house technical expertise to Maintenance and Operations. The Process Mechanical Engineer coordinates the Management of Change process in relation to plant equipment and design, ensuring that stakeholders are appropriately engaged and that risks are effectively managed. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.Responsibilities:Drive safety mindset through participation in site programs including field level risk assessments (FLRA), Team Risk Assessments, Field Interactions and Fatal Risk Audits.Oversee the identification, specification, monitoring and verification of Critical Controls pertaining to Process Safety (Process Safety Management).Investigate equipment failures and develop solutions in the context of improved operations and maintenance practices or equipment upgrades.Administer and oversee the plant MOC process, ensuring that contemplated changes are effectively managed and implemented.Work with a multi-disciplinary cross-functional team to support mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and electrical replacements and upgrades.
