They are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team.
This role involves conducting diagnostic imaging using ultrasound technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions.
Work Shift: Mon – Fri 7:30pm – 5:30pm (no weekends or call coverage)

Focus:
Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with medical protocols and physician requests.
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Review and evaluate completed scans for clarity, quality, and necessary coverage.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic data.
Keep accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all procedures and findings according to healthcare regulations and protocols.
Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure, addressing any concerns or questions to ensure a positive patient experience.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in sonography.
Skill Set:
Successful completion of an accredited Sonography Program, including required theoretical and practical training.
At least 60% of the mandatory clinical hours in a recognized Sonography Program must be completed.
Eligible or certified in one of the following specialties with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS): Abdominal (AB), Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), Vascular Technology (RVT), Musculoskeletal (MSK), or Pediatrics (PS).
For candidates eligible but not yet certified, ARDMS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hiring.
Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association BLS preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
Proficiency in the operation of ultrasound equipment and digital imaging technology.
