Undergrad Student Employee - Admissions Assistant

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Position:Student Employee

Duties:This student worker position completes various tasks in support of the admissionsoffice at the campus of Benedictine University - Mesa.Responsibilities include giving campus toursto prospective students and their families, data entry, participating inadmissions events such as open houses, preferred visit days, etc., organizingfiles, putting together visit packets, reaching out to prospective students asneeded and other general office duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Provide campus tours to visitors
- Participation in special admission events such as open houses, including setup and take-down assistance
- Data entry
- Putting together visit packets
- Calling prospective students when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Hours:
This position can work up-to 19 hours/week.Actual hours will be determined by thesupervisor and needs of the position and may vary depending on the demands of admissions.
Required Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled Benedictinestudent in good standing.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyrequired to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk;use hands to touch, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This positionrequires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to20 pounds.
Use of computerscreen, phone and customer service.
May require bending,or sitting for long periods of time.
Specific vision abilities required by thisjob include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The following ofcampus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols is required.
Training: As a Universityemployee you are required to complete all University-specific and/or OSHArelated training to fulfill your job duties.
Specific training will beconducted online or in person.
Employees must complete all trainings requiredby Benedictine University.
