Job Objectives:
Underwrite both new and renewal E&O business.
Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze and evaluate primary and excess Errors & Omissions risks Compliance with underwriting guidelines, systems and procedures Maintain and develop broker relationships Adhere to service standards Contribute to underwriting team's monthly and annual production goals Attend and engage in routine team underwriting discussions Responsible for developing new business production and broker relationships Assist with product and system training Travel for broker and client visits as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements : Between two (2) and eight (8) years insurance experience (Professional Liability insurance experience preferred) College degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and flexibility Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment Solid writing and communication skills General computer and Office Suite skills Willingness to travel (up to 10%) About Fairfax
