Description The system provides educational services to over 48,000 students in 53 fully accredited schools. Academic, vocational, technical and pupil support programs are offered through a curriculum designed to meet the needs and the interests of students.Special schools and programs are available for students with special needs. Currently, the system has four year-round elementary schools and one middle school, which offers an optional calendar to students.Union County Public Schools recruits professional employees who are committed to thetotal development of students. There are approximately 4,500 employees.
