The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) is the largest academic unit at Rutgers University and the center of the undergraduate experience on the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus and is comprised of 41 academic departments spanning the liberal arts.

Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Unit Administrator / Specialist Casual for the School of Arts and Sciences - Computer Science department.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Engages in topical analysis of data from the narratives of pioneers and leaders in biomedical and health informatics.
Works will also involve comparison with literature-based citation analyses to discover trends in topics covered by publications and their overlap with the authors' own statements of research experiences.
Applies advanced text analysis and AI methods to generate summaries of trends inter-and intra-author across biomedical and health informatics subfields.

Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 or the applicable provisions of relevant collective negotiations agreements, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of topical data analysis and reporting.
Equipment Utilized University-proprietary software, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications.
