Annualized at $67,777.00 with a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus of $3000.00.

Program Description: The Apartment Treatment Program, Community Residence is a 54 bed, scattered site program.
The program is licensed by the NYS Office of Mental Health and designed for single adults diagnosed with a mental illness who will benefit from a shared living arrangement as they work on the skills that will enable them to successfully transition to more independent supportive housing.
Residents have their own bedrooms in scattered sites, three-bedroom apartments.
Essential Responsibility and Role of a Unit Director/Supervisor: The Unit Director is responsible for ensuring that his/her unit is operated in compliance with the Office of Mental Health (OMH), New York State Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) regulations, and in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and policies of Geel and provide apartment/case load coverage as needed.
Case Management supervision for three visiting counselors.Available on call for 24-hour crisis intervention.Ensure that the program is prepared for successful audits and reviews.Complete monthly data collection to monitor services and trends in census, attendance, incidents, and funder outcomes.Attend staff meetings, supervision, and trainings as required.Ability to work with consumers and families, and staff in a caring and respectful manner, and with understanding of and consideration for cultural differences.Qualifications and Requirements: Education: This position requires that the individual fulfill the requirements of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) - Baccalaureate Degree in Human Services or Masters in Social Work.Experience: Bachelor's Degree with three years related work experience or Master's Degree plus one year related experience.
Supervisory experience is required.Physical Requirements: Must be able to access apartments above the first floor with or without elevator access.Must be able to travel to different locations using public transportation.Must be able to demonstrate proper cleaning and apartment maintenance methods to clients/residents in addressing their activities of daily living.To apply for this position, see below.
