We're looking for a Campus Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and support Appian's University Recruiting program. You'll manage the full-lifecycle recruiting process for university candidates and maintain close relationships with university departments, career centers, student groups, and department faculty alike.
This role is based at Appian's Headquarters in McLean, VA. Employees hired for this position will have the opportunity to work in a flexible, hybrid environment. If you are not already located in the surrounding McLean, VA area, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for this position. To be successful in this role, you will:
Own candidate lifecycle from start to finish, including sourcing, interviewing, negotiating, and closingEffectively source candidates on a variety of recruiting platformsContribute to building positive brand recognition in the local, domestic, and international communityPartner with hiring leaders across departments as a strategic advisorHelp improve and scale our interview best practicesUnderstand Appian's business strategy and competitive positioning2+ years proven success as a general Recruiter; technical recruiting experience preferredOutstanding ability to cultivate relationships, particularly with university students and internal senior leadershipAttract talented, successful, and diverse students from top universitiesThrive in a fast-paced, high-performing team environmentDevelop and execute diversity sourcing strategies and partnershipsManage activities including candidate pipelining, event staffing, interview scheduling, and job postingsUse relevant data management systems (applicant tracking systems) and presentation-building software (Google Slides, Powerpoint, Canva, etc)Plan and execute creative events to build our brand with partner universitiesDeliver presentations and participate in public speaking engagementsPartner with hiring managers to understand business needs and assess position goalsAbout Us: We celebrate our success.
