The University Training Coordinator supports all Serv-U-Success University staff and serves as the main point of contact for team members attending training activities. This role is responsible for managing training materials, coordinating logistics for training sessions, and overseeing general administrative functions within the University Department. Key responsibilities include creating and distributing training materials, coordinating meals and accommodations for participants, and maintaining a clean and organized training environment.
\n Training MaterialsPrepare, organize, and distribute printed materials, including new hire training binders.Track and coordinate Store Manager in Training progress, testing, and graduation timelines.Monitor and distribute Retail Operations Certification Program certifications. CoordinationMaintain an inviting and organized training space, including setup of furniture, equipment, and seasonal decorations.Coordinate meals (up to three weekly), office supplies, and training-related inventory.Organize hotel accommodations for out-of-town attendees and manage room key pickups.Plan off-site events, dinners, and meeting spaces as needed.Arrange carpools for traveling team members in collaboration with directors and managers. Administrative SupportProcess and distribute mail for the department.Reconcile University-related receipts and track departmental expenses with the Finance Team.Manage the Lending Library using Libib software.Oversee the training department's email account and respond to inquiries promptly.Schedule and manage the calendar for the company mentor and University conference room. Training SupportAssist Corporate Trainers with training activities, including icebreakers, workshops, and materials.Manage Store iPad Workstation materials stored at the University. Other DutiesEnsure a clean and organized training environment, including light cleaning in the kitchen and bathrooms.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Desired Education, Skills & ExperienceEducation & Experience:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred. Skills:Strong customer service abilities, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective in managing sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other software applications.Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize competing tasks effectively.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage a flexible schedule.Detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a welcoming and professional training environment.
