Western Wisconsin Health is seeking an Urgent Care Provider to join our team of providers.
We are looking for a provider who share WWH's vision of creating healthier tomorrow for our patients and is passionate about supporting our community members along their wellness journeys.
Our ideal candidate will help with all aspects of care, including treatments and consultations as part of a physician/advanced practice provider team.
The provider will work in outpatient setting and will practice independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides clinical care for patients.
Completes comprehensive patient assessments.
Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness.
Orders and interprets medical diagnostics.
Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy, and medical equipment.
Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care.
Refers for specialty care when determined.
Promotes communication within the team and other interdisciplinary health care staff.
A patient-first approach, working towards increasing access for community.
Works with administration for program development.
Acts as liaison with Emergency department and inpatient unit.
Demonstrates awareness, understanding and respect of cultural diversity and patients of all ages and socioeconomic groups.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited medical school and completed residency training program or graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program and completion of Master of Science Degree in Nursing/Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program.
Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine.
Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Wisconsin Board of Medical Practice.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Wisconsin.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
Work schedule: Casual: minimum of 1 shift per month Urgent Care Hours Monday through Friday 7am-7pm Saturdays 8am-2pm Holidays 8am-2pm ABOUT WESTERN WISCONSIN HEALTH
