JOB SUMMARY:
Olympic Medical Physicians' Specialty Clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State's beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. OMP is seeking a team-oriented Urologist to evaluate, diagnose, treat by medical and/or surgical intervention, and provide consultation and care to patients presenting with urologic issues. Highlights of the practice include:
Joining an established and successful rural practice in lifestyle setting with maximum 1-in-4 callIndustry-leading support staff ratios, including robust RN and Medical Assistant support, and responsive OR administrationBecome part of a large multispecialty group supporting a Level III Trauma CenterIntegrated electronic healthcare record system (EPIC) with local and regional hospital systemsThe successful Urologist at OMP is focused on providing excellent person-centered care to rural patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
Medical degree from an accredited school.
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in urology.
Successful completion of requirements of the American Board of Urology for certification in urology.
Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.
Experience:
Completion of urology residency.
Licensure/Credentials:
Board certified or active participant in the examination process leading to certification in urology and area of sub-specialty (if any). Recertifies at appropriate intervals per specialty board requirements.
Maintains an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington.
Maintains current DEA registration.
Maintains current BLS certification.
Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
