The Surgical Physician Assistant Role: The Surgical Physician Assistant provides patient services under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to Physician Assistant Protocol, and within the scope of the Physician Assistant License in the State of Wisconsin. The Surgical Physician Assistant ensures continuity between clinical practice and standards of care as well as promotes and aids in patient preparation for discharge. This individual works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other health care disciplines utilizing a team approach to healthcare. In this role, you will assist with a busy Urology practice alongside two physicians and a Physician Assistant. This position will see patients in clinic as well as assist in the OR. Call will be a part of this role at a rotation of 1:7 and will include all surgery specialties.
