Position Summary: Data and Digital Literacy: Possesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, and tools; data analytics and data visualization tools and techniques; existing and upcoming digital applications and systems; technology innovation trends and industry benchmarks; data governance; data science techniques and applications. Responsibilities include delineating problems, leveraging data to determine root causes, ensuring data quality, leveraging visualization techniques to create dashboards, and proposing ways to automate/improve existing processes.
Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies, applicable laws, and macro-level trends. Responsibilities include operating tools for evaluating pollution, supporting regulatory visits, and interpreting compliance status reports.
Operational Excellence: Knowledge of organizational processes and root cause analysis techniques. Responsibilities include explaining operational functions, identifying primary operational functions, and locating SOP information.
Partnership & Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder identification and engagement techniques. Responsibilities include supporting the development of business cases and owning project activity and tasks.
Influential Communication: Knowledge of communication styles and techniques. Responsibilities include organizing thoughts, presenting to team members, and actively listening to others.
Employee Health and Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety auditing processes. Responsibilities include participating in inspections, monitoring facilities for hazards, and reporting safety violations.
Asset Protection & Security: Knowledge of asset protection policies and security laws. Responsibilities include recognizing security breaches and assisting in the implementation of access control procedures.
EHS Training Delivery: Knowledge of training methodologies. Responsibilities include supporting instructors in training programs and maintaining repositories of training benchmarks.
Transportation Operations: Knowledge of transportation laws and safety rules. Responsibilities include verifying document completion and monitoring transportation management checks.
Risk Management: Knowledge of risk assessment processes. Responsibilities include producing risk assessment reports and training employees on risk awareness.
Process Improvement: Knowledge of workflow mapping and continuous improvement principles. Responsibilities include defining critical workflows and leading incident investigations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field.2 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.2 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies.Preferred Qualifications: 1 or More Degreed Certifications (e.g., Associate Safety Professional).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.Primary Location: 8827 Old River Rd, Marcy, NY ******** , United States of America.
