As a UI/UX Designer at Zello, you will work with fellow designers to design new features from the ground up. From foundational exploration and research through prototyping and testing, you'll help your (and our) vision come to life. You will analyze a problem space, research competitors, propose solutions, conduct usability testing, revise your designs, and finally hand off for development.
What you'll doWrite, share, and apply project plans for your work from inception through research, design, testing, and revision.Build and maintain component systems, screens, and flows in Figma.Work with your team's product manager, engineers, and data analyst to deliver new features on a three-week cadence.Work in low- and high-fidelity as necessary.Facilitate productive feedback discussions, empowering non-designers to give their best and most helpful input.Create, prototype, and test your designs.Collaborate with other designers to ensure best research and testing practices.Collaborate with engineers by building and testing projects to ensure design fit and finish.Who you areYou have 5+ years of design experience.You employ a hybrid of heuristics and inductive research.You have a background in digital products with complex, diverse user bases.You build low-fidelity prototypes in Figma, Principle, or a comparable tool.You build high-fidelity prototypes in Origami (preferable) or a comparable tool.You're familiar with HTML, CSS, and JS.You're familiar with Xcode and Android Studio.We hire for potential, passion for our mission, and a knack for solving difficult problems over checking every qualification box.
