Utility Trailer Mechanic

Seeking a Reefer Mechanic with truck and trailer repair experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Hialeah, FL.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Life insurance, and 401k!  
Salary is between $18.00-$30.00/per year (based on experience)
In this role you will be servicing and repairing Dry Van trailers, Dump Trailers, Flatbed Trailers, Reefer Trailers, and more! 
Responsibilities:
Meet and maintain safety, quality, and productivity standardsInspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on trailersPerform PM inspections and make necessary repairs on trailersTroubleshoot ABS system and repair as neededDisc and drum brake repairs on semi-trailersElectrical work on lights and systemsWelding and light fabrication skillsRoll door repairsSupport and help shop foreman and team membersOther duties as directedQualifications:
Preferable own tools and tool box or be willing to purchaseKeep an organized and clean work areaPrompt and reliable employee1-2-year mechanic experience preferred but not requiredEffective communicator and team playerPhysical activities include: walking, being able to lift more than 20 lbs., twisting, turning, and climbing laddersAble to pass a drug test If you are interested in learning more about this role, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!
