Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00.
The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Job Description
The UX Researcher is responsible for conducting user research activities to help deliver intuitive and transformative experiences for our clients and team members.
This role works closely with other UX practitioners, designers, strategists, and stakeholders to propose and conduct user research activities across Cox Automotive Dealer Solutions products, services, and platforms.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about user experience research, particularly as it relates to software development.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Conduct formative (e.g., contextual interviews) and evaluative (e.g., lab/remote sessions, surveys) research to inform product strategy and tactics.
Select appropriate research methods based on product phase and timeline Assist in creating research proposals and roadmaps Recruit test participants, create screeners, and manage participant scheduling Set up and facilitate testing, covering quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute research plans based on business needs and growth initiatives Analyze research data to uncover insights and present findings to various levels of the organization Participate in brainstorming sessions, needs analysis, and features and functionality workshops Stay informed about UX Research trends and communicate recommendations to the UX team Assist in the creation of interaction designs to support initiatives as needed WHO YOU ARE
Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in UX research for complex web and mobile software applications Proficiency in various research methodologies, including: 1:1 task-based testing/in-depth interviews Remote moderated and unmoderated testing Card sorting (open/closed) Focus groups Contextual inquiry Concept testing/desirability studies Prototype testing Survey creation Strong user experience research foundation and flexible approach Solid reporting skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment Experience communicating with stakeholders, designers, product managers, and engineering team members Familiarity with tools such as Pendo, Qualtrics, Figma, Axure, Adobe Analytics, or Optimizely Portfolio demonstrating experience in conducting strategic research with business outcomes Experience performing UX Research within an Agile SDLC Additional Skills Ability to translate business requirements into usable interface layouts Create site maps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive mock-ups/prototypes Adaptability to work on multiple projects and adjust priorities as needed TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
