DescriptionPosition at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.
SEWS - Farmington Hills, Michigan Location BASIC PURPOSE: To lead and support new WSS (Wheel Speed Sensor) business goals.
To lead and support PDC (Box) testing as necessary.
MINIMUM POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree along with 1-3 years of progressive engineering experience in testing and evaluation
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform testing on PDC and WSS according to automotive specifications and standards.
Collects test result data and presents summarizes results to Product Team or to the customer as required.
Works with design team to generate validation plan, implementation of the testing environment, and execution of validation plan and management.
Develops and maintains testing standards per customer requirements.
Analyzes test failure data and utilizes problem-solving techniques to prepare evaluation summary reports.
Performs continuous improvement activities and making good documentation control of testing based on ISO/TS requirements.
Experience of making detailed work procedure/instructions for testing based on specifications provided.
Good communication skills and team work.
Maintains safety and housekeeping at all times.
