Description

As the VAS Supervisor for Warehouse Operations, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of value-added services within our California warehouse facilities.
This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, retail accounts, and vendors to identify opportunities for value creation and ensure the successful delivery of services.

Responsibilities Client Engagement: Work closely with retail accounts to understand their business needs and how we can provide value-added services.
Define the requirements for those services.
Work closely with retail accounts to identify their custom needs for the apparel and how the apparel should be packaged, sorted and shipped.
Prepare quotes for services to prospective and existing retailers. VAS Development and Implementation: Lead value-added service projects tailored to the needs of our retail accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, vendor compliance, and design to deploy innovative solutions that enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy for all apparel / accessory shipments. Vendor Management and Partnerships: Identify and evaluate potential vendors and partners to source materials, equipment or services required for value-added offerings.
Negotiate contracts and agreements and manage vendor relationships to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services. Process Optimization: Work directly with warehouse supervisors and managers to establish processes for VAS projects.
Create workflows and use best practices to eliminate waste and maximize accuracy and profitability for each retail client order.
Daily interaction with Customer Service ensuring orders are flowing smoothly and addressing issues as they arise. Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring: Perform routine quality inspections on all projects and monitor project details and execution by the warehouse staff.
Perform SKU inspections; checking boxes for accuracy prior to shipment to the client.
Monitor various quality areas to avoid chargebacks. Oversight: Indirectly manage warehouse personnel, providing, guidance, and support to achieve VAS project goals.

Requirements

4 - 7 years' experience in warehouse operations, with a focus on value-added services and finishing services.Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control processes, and material handling equipmentKnowledge of VICs requirements for apparel retailersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for optimization and value creationExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendorsDemonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and driving performance in a fast-paced warehouse environmentBilingual (Spanish) required Onsite Work

5 days a week in our warehouse located in Lebec, CA

California Pay Rate $52,000 - $60,000
